Our final concert for our 2024/25 Season has former Wind Chamber Music Prize winners at the Royal Academy of Music, Ensemble Renard, performing on Monday 10th March at 7.30pm in St John’s Kirk Perth.

| Ensemble Renard was founded in 2018 by musicians and friends from the Guildhall School and the Royal Academy of Music, where they won the Wind Chamber Music Prize. Their concert demonstrates the kaleidoscopic versatility of wind in great and rare repertoire. | |

| Monday 7.30pm 24th February 2025 Asaka Quartet  Book Now |  |
| Hailing from China, Hong Kong and Scotland, each player in the Asaka quartet brings their own identities. They pride themselves on communicating their enjoyment of making music together and sharing this with their audiences. 2023 Tunnell Trust Prizewinners, they formed at the Royal Academy of Music where they were 1st prize winners in the Wolfe Wolfinsohn String Quartet Competition. |

| Trio Isimsiz formed in 2009 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where they are now Fellows. Prizewinners at Trondheim and Vienna, the Trio has performed widely in Europe and have undertaken tours in China and Argentina. Welcoming them back to perform important well-loved works by Brahms and Schubert they add inspirational pieces by the ill-fated Lili Boulanger. |

| Quartetto Noûs , formed in 2011 is famed for its enthralling performances reflecting a professional training combining Italian tradition and varied influential European schools, having studied with the Hagen and Alban Berg Quartets. Noûs is from the Greek implying ‘mind’, ‘rationality’, ‘inspiration’ and ‘creativity’. |

| Winners of First Prizes in many international string quartet competitions, the Marmen Quartet has a growing reputation for the courage, vitality and intensity of its performances. They will present a programme ranging from the 18th century to modern classics. |
