The Scottish Consortium of Music Societies is a new organisation representing Music Societies across Scotland. The purpose of SCOMS is to enrich the cultural life of Scotland by supporting the provision of live classical music across the nation. This is achieved by encouraging collaboration and support among music societies and by advocating for the importance of live classical music in the community and in educational settings.

Perth Chamber Music is proud to be one of the founding members of SCOMS and shares its goals of promoting and encouraging live classical music through our concerts, and in educational settings, through our programme of Educational Workshops delivered in collaboration with musicians and local schools.
